About Chris Sopa

Chris Sopa is the founder of Chris Sopa International, Inc., a company dedicated to inspiring human potential and self-esteem development. Ms. Sopa has a passion for guiding individuals to understanding the importance of self-esteem and how it affects many of their life decisions as well as how the epidemic of low self-esteem is affecting our youth throughout the country.

Ms. Sopa has a Bachelors Degree in Biology, Pre-Medicine from Bowling Green State University and a Masters Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Capella University. Her facilitation style is one that is highly interactive and allows the clients the ultimate environment to honor their highest potential both personally and professionally. Her style, personal story and national exposure have made her a sought after keynote speaker and facilitator with many organizations and events throughout the country.

Ms. Sopa has facilitated in several companies throughout the nation including the Veterans Administration, Goodwill Industries, JP Morgan Chase, Rite Aid, National Education Association as well as for the several national public schools and college institutions; local, state and federal government agencies; several Blood Banks across the nation, and is a sought after speaker at many international conferences. As an industry leader in wellness education and human potential, Ms. Sopa has developed and facilitated several programs focusing on stress management, life balance, developing intuitive skills, effective communication skills, executive leadership, organizational change strategies, coaching/counseling and feedback and mentorship in the workplace. Ms. Sopa also is the founder of Chris Sopa International Journeys, a subsidiary company of CSI, which escorts coaching clients on international journeys to places such as Peru, Mexico, New Zealand, Africa, and Thailand to continue their personal development coaching in a “non-ordinary” location and gives them an opportunity to put what they have learned in coaching to use.

Ms. Sopa is the Vice President of the Board of Education for Cecil County Public Schools and a member of the Manchester’s Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals. She has authored articles on stress management, self-esteem, leadership, cold calling, sales skills, time management, teamwork, finding your life’s purpose and life balance. She is the wellness columnist for “Wealth Creation” magazine and is currently in the process of finishing her first published book which focuses on dealing with loss and disappointments in life, due out in 2008.
